I know this isn't really a technical question, but I just wanted to know if anyone knows if we can still order the cupholder (4th gen 94-96) from honda, majestic honda, or any of those parts websites. just so I don't waste my time.

why not call and ask? The guys at majestic honda are really helpful. I need a couple bolts overnighted, called in my order at about 3 pm, had my order the next day

Man someone stole my cupholder so I just bought a jdm cup holder for 75 bucks. Goes great with my jdm ashtray.

I got lucky. mine was fully in tact, not broken at all

 

hmm, btw, there isn't a write up for the conversion is there? When I search, it's just people talking about it. Anyway, I'm probably going to go to home depot, buy those 1/4in thick metal bars, and use locktite to bolt it in with self tapping screws. Then just bolt the ebrake into those bars. (because its not flat) that way I don't have to go underneath the car and use a nut for the bolts. I know I could also get it welded, but I don't know how to do that, or even know a shop that would do it for me. And if I did, I would probably have to pay a decent amount just for labor.

yeah, people have said there is one, but ive searched up and down. btw, how are u mounting your e-brake? any pics?

 

I was thinking of replacing the cables completely. However, I've heard from numerous members that extending the cables are just as effective. I might extend it wih a hook bolt (i dunno what it is called; it's a bolt with hooks on both ends but in the middle you can adjust the length of the bolt.) and hook that to the center bracket of the old cable, then hook the other end to the left or right side of the ebrake cable off the 94+ hand brake.

You know what.. now that I think of it, I should do a write up. dark_rican changed the cables completely, took him nearly 4hrs. but I saw it and it's clean. he banged out the part of the tunnel to flatten it out so he could bolt the ebrake on.

Apparently they do not allow cursing (as if there are underage luders on the site), or blowing up a mod's spot if they are tryin to spit some game to a new lude chick member. They don't have one. I was saying if someone could unban me there because I want to make a write up and recieve credit for it. did he sell u the ebrake assembly? he told me he wouldnt sell it without me buying his center console, AND give him my 92 console. So I was like eff you. b/c I already have the console. Can you send me in pm how ur gonna mount it? I promise I wont steal it, lol.
