how can i tell the difference. is it true civic si seats the head rest pulls up and crx si seats the headrest doesnt move?

Easy way to tell is the color schemes. Can you post some pics up? What colors are they?

 

Well this can be confusing because theres differences between 88-89 and 90-91 CRX si seats. I'm not sure if that is the case with the civic.

It is. It also depends on the model that they came from.

EDIT: Just saw that he's referring to CRX Si and Civic Si seats

88-89: Civic: Black/Grey with Red/Yellow/Blue Stripes, CRX: Black/Grey

90-91: Civic: Black/Grey with Red/Blue Stripes, CRX: Black/Grey with Red stripes

 

i know civics are more boxy sort of and crxs have more of "not boxy"
