well my 2000 gsr now needs rotors and pads. just wondering if u guys could give me some suggestions on what type of rotors and pads i should get and they will be used for street driving. mainly wondering if i go oem or aftermarket or

 

Blank rotors; skip the slots and the holes as they will cause future problems. Hawk HPS pads work well without excess dust or noise.

If you can afford them, pep boys has the ebc greenstuff brake pads for like $50. I've had mine on my d.d. for over 2 years now, over 30k miles, stop and go, city and some freeway miles, still over half the pad left. And they are on some $13 autozone rotors.
