Default Botched brake bleed?

So, I set about bleeding the brake lines... tried the right line, got my friend to pump the brakes, loosened the brakeline screw when the brake was engaged, tighted the screw when the brake was let off, kept adding brake fluid to the reservoir...

Tightened everything, but the wheel back on, and the pedal hits the floor when I brake and I have to brake multiple times to build up adequate pressure.

Anyone have an idea what's wrong?

when you bleed brakes, first, start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder (right rear) then to the left rear, right front then left front. when your buddy pumps the brakes, make sure hes holding the brakes down when your tightening the bleed screw. what happens when he lets off the brake pedal and the bleed screw is open, it actually sucks air back into the brake line. defeating the whole purpose of bleeding the brakes. hope this helps!!!

Yeah, I made sure to at least do that. So, no air in the brake lines. But I still don't have brake fluid pressure.

you may have a faulty master cylinder. its not holding pressure. a mc is basicly a big balloon. it may be losing pressure. either that or your prop. valve is plugged. i think there is a bleeder screwe on that too.
