Default Turning away from the dark side.... and going vtec

I have a 99 turbo ls with a built b18a motor. I want to go all motor with a b18c5 but I have a few questions I need cleared up first. Obviously, if I went with the type r motor, i would need the type r ecu and such. I understand that. What I need to know is how much would really need to be done once my motor is out and the OBD-1 that my car was converted to is out? Is there much involved in wiring for vtec that an ls motor doesnt have already? Does anyone know of a site with a good write up of a specific ls to type r swap? Thanks.

Why not keep the OBD1 with the ITR engine? You can easily tune that ECU. What is your goal with going back to normally aspirated?

I'm not looking to get huge amounts of power out of it. Possibly if I have the money, strengthen the bottom end. But I'm just looking for a pretty much stock motor that can put up with a little bullshit
