Default problem with electric oil pressure gauge

this my second electric oil pressure im having problems with.
i connect b+ and ground to the gauge.... the gauge goes straight to max psi
why???

yeah, and when you connect the sensor the needle should move a bit or center to 0.

It's probably reading that way because there's no pressure on the sender...

Plus, it doesn't help any that your tape dispenser is broken...

i know it should read zero, but it doesnt. i dunno why, this is the 3rd gauge ive tried.
if there's no pressure on the sensor it should read zero.
i just wondering if I did something retarded, or if anyone has a solution for me. i dont like running hard line inside my car for a mech. gauge

If you give up on the electric gauge you can use an isolator with a mechanical gauge. http://store.summitracing.com/...45469

I'm assuming you've made an attempt to contact the manufacturer about the issue? Is this a good name brand? Just wondering if we should avoid this one.
