can anyone tell me if an h22a4 engine is able to swap into an 89 acura legend and if i can some one hook me of with a link to a write up about it sorry about the 91 thing it is a first gen. it is acually a friends car.i just thought he said 91 lol

I havn't read of anyone doing an h22 swap into there 2nd gen legend. They do a 3.5 rl motor that is more common.

 

1. it wont fit w/o major modding
2. why would u wanna swap a 2.2 4 banger into a fat car like a legend that comes with 200hp V6 stock

 

it 89 legend and i have reason to believe that it is the same body as an accord

there was an article in Honda Tuning a while ago that had one of the first custom turbo G1 Legend.

that's the guys cardomain site. its up to you and your friend now to do the rest of the research as to what it took to get a turbo to fit in the vehicle.

 

best bet is too boost!
