Default 3wire to 2 wire knock sensor? looked everywhere....

Okay heres the situation...i have an em1 which is obd2b...my engine is at the machine shop so i decided to purchase a d16y8 to put into it from a 98 civic ex which is obd2a. I used my harness from the em1 to attach to this engine since many told me it would work...all plug and play. Well it turns out the knock sensor plug on the engine is a 3wire plug and my harness has a 2 wire plug. The two plugs are both very different too.

We started the engine up for 5 seconds just to see if it runs and it seemed normal. What can i do so i can connect them? could i use my sensor off my b16 and put it on the d16? If i did not connect them...would my car run like absolute crap and end up in catastrophe? I need to know this by Monday morning because I need to take my car out of the shop. Any help is appreciated and yes i know...sohc in em1 FTMFL....yeah yeah...happy easter guys!
