Few Easter shots...
Happy Easter everyone. Got bored waiting to eat dinner, so I went out on this cloudy/snow shower filled day. I had my white balance on cloudy but it didn't work out to well so any hints for shooting in this light are welcome.

The white balance looks fine to me. They're all just underexposed. Start shooting in RAW and you can adjust white balance in photoshop and also make exposure corrections if its off a bit.

3 different things effect your exposure, shutter speed, apeture and ISO.
Shutter speed is how long the shutter is open for, if a picture is underexposed, you decrease the shutter speed.
The apeture is how open the lens is. A higher fstop is a smaller opening, so a lower fstop is a bigger opening allowing more light in. Instead of changing the shutter you can go to a lower f-stop, but this effects your depth of field. The higher the f-stop, the greater the depth of field.
ISO is how sensitive the sensor is too light. A higher ISO makes the sensor more light sensitive, but in turn creates more noise. This is the last thing you want to change to get a proper exposure. And if you have a tripod there's no need to ever raise the iso.
The Rebel has a built in light sensor so I suggest learning to use it. Read the manual a gabijillion times and then sign up on accessphoto.com if you haven't already. And maybe even pick up Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson. Great book and recommended by all of us AP members.
