Default new member, new ride need your help

So i used to be all into nissan's but then i went to this honda/acura shop that has all the crx's left in our city and became friends with the owner and next thing you know hes selling me a crx.

Tell me what you think

The shell is a mint 89 crx with a full mugen body kit, mint and wired for a b18.

their is no rust on the car and its primared so i can choose any paint i want.

i am also going to buy a b18 for the car.

so is the shel thats in really good condition be worth 1500 canadian and a b18 low kms for 800?

and what color scheme should i do for this crx, i was looking at a pearl blue

I'm going to asume for that price a b18a/b. Still a great motor, look into a b16 tranny for it, really wakes them up.

What color is totally up to you, we might see your car a few times if you post it. You on the other hand will own it and have to live with it, so if you like blue paint it blue

Welcome to the site.

Welcome to HT, sounds like your car could be a good start.

That is a never ending battle. Its competely up to what you want and your future plans are for the car. The best thing to do is check out some past posts by searching. There is a bottom on the top right hand corner, there you can type in b18 or b16 and it will give you hours of reading.

As for the color, Ace$nyper is right...its all up to you.

Oh post some pics asap!

the hatch is a 89, and its ready for the b18 swap. so im gonna do that.

the color we have picked out is pearl blue. the shop doing the work is Civic nation so i am going to get that tinted into the back flat glass.

what the car needs

-some rust grinded out
-new windsheild
-drivers seat( putting my sparco sprint in )
-climate control

it has a full exhaust on it at the moment. and it has 91 tail lights. parts for this car wont be hard to find because civic nation owns all the part car crx's here so i have my choise of parts from about 10 crx's. if you need something let me know and ill tell you what i can do

Looks OK, but those sideskirts do not match the bumpers at all, I'd take them off. Good Luck with the new project .

by the way, just so you know, the kit you have is a mugen look a like, with the exception of the skirts, those are just wrong. there is a thread around here stating the differences.
