I finally got the Rex started!!
thanks for all the input guys and girls...
I was having trouble starting my Rex .. but now its starting..
here's what i did..
attached a wire from the bolt where the starter is mounted to the negative side of the battery
and eureka!!!! it started..
...
does this mean i have a faulty ground wire?

Yes I have a 1 gauge ground wire. You can buy them at any auto store. Cut the stock one before where it is attached to the body about 10" down from battery. Then attach the new one where stock one goes but leave the stock one attached where it goes from there to body.

I never mind answering questions cause ill have questions too and hope someone answers for me 
New cable attached to battery:
Stock cable cut off before attachment point

Stock cable and new cable attached at stock mounting point
Thats it let me know if you get it now?
