Default (searched) steering wheel stability

I may be tripin but im almost sure that somethings up with my steering.
Under load, the smallest bump will cause the steering wheel to jump from side to side, as if my rack was not holding any pressure. i don't remember it driving like this. if im driving up hill , under any load, this steering wheel jumps around like crazy. any ideas?

Have you checked your driveaxles for damage? Do you have a limited slip differential? Have you checked your alignment or suspension components for damage?

Is your car slammed to the ground with oversized rims and tires?

alignment is good, all bolts are tight. axles are good. almost stock ride height. what would break first from too much wheel hop?

You mean too much wheel hop when accelerating from a dead stop? That would be your differential/transmission that recieves the majority of the damage.

lemme rephrase this question.

I have new axles and struts. Im not sure of the condition of the tie rods. Ride height is almost stock.

One day I let my girl take out the deuce deuce, the next day I went for a drive and noticed a feeling of constant wheel hop. any time I give it more then 50% throttle and hit any little bumps in the road it feels like the front cross member is gonna fall on the ground. I went up I80 to Tahoe yesterday, the ****** road almost killed me. I must add, Lotus Elise are weak!

Could Tie rods cause this? they are the only thing i can think of, however they are only 4 yrs old, so they should still be good.

first off, never let any woman drive your car. they just don't understand the complexity of the situation.

could be, i have a very "loose" steering and i've been told that replacing the tie rods will correct some of the problem.
