hey ht im debating on should i buy this ef hatch from a guy here in ga the car has a ls already swapped in body is clean and the inside is nice only thing is the car is not running and the guy doesnt know why ls motors are kinda cheap here in ga i can get a head for next to nothing around 100 bucks or so so im wondering what could really be wrong with this car and should i spend the 700 to get it what do you guys think?

 

well, you are right about the abundance of LS motors because they are also quite cheap here in MA too. but hey if the exterior and interior are mint and its already swapped? id say thats a sick deal. i only paid 400 for my 91 dx hatch bone stock. hope i helped! and happy easter!

 

I payed $725 for my SI w/ ls swap and i was happy with it...ECU is STILL in limp mode though..cant figure the damn thing out..still a fun car though, definately worth $700 i would do it

well from our pm's to each other he told me hes not a mechanic and doesnt know why the car isnt running he just wants the thing gone so he told me give me 700 and you can come and get it. the guy owns and runs a paint shop and has a pretty good rep for some nice cars im thinking that he just doenst want to fool with it anymore. im just wondering why the car wont even start like what could really be wrong with it i dont want to buy this car and end up having to swap out the whole ls motor that would defeat the purpose of me buying the car cheap. im hoping that its gonna be something simple like a starter or alternator or maybe a batter cable hope its nothing like blown head or cracked block
