You use brake caliper paint..........

 

I painte the calipes in the R red, used High temp paint, I found it to be cheaper than caliper paint. This was about 1 yr ago, it is still on . I completely diassembled the calipers to do this, I figured if its going to be done better do it right.

Yeah you use engine enamel and you won't have any problems. Just make sure you clean the calipers really well. And you really should take them off.

 

what purpose would it serve to paint calipers?
they look tacky and a half when painted.
especially drums.....ECK!
they're meant to be black. your car won't look any faster, nor will it stop any faster.

 

Looks better than rust

 

Paint 'em flat black, they're not really meant to stand out unless you have some exotic brake hardware you want to show off

 

i saw some bronze ones on a black car looked great i thought
