I have a da underconstruction but the only thing thats killin me is the color I want to keep it the stock color but than again I want to paint it an olive tan color to be different.

Alot of people tell me not to get red because I'lll get pulled over more.
Is this Myth true??

As far as the myth goes...I'm not sure that is totally correct. I have owned 2 civics and both were red and I didnt get pulled over very much. I guess it just depends on the cop and red does kinda stand out more so than say "white". However by having a car that is a totally different color than any other car on the road...well that in itself might attract cops.

im pretty sure there was a survey taken of cars pulled over over a 3 month period. and the top cars that were pulled over were red, like electric blue and yellow.
but i just think red cars are faster

the reason you get pulled over more in a red car (or the myth) is because red really jumps out at people.

it says look at me. therefore there are alot of red cars around, and cops notice the red over say a white.

overall, if you dont drive like a jack *** then you wont get pulled over.

theres a catch 22 kind of thing here. if youre in a WHITE honda and are driving next to two RED porsches, the white HONDA will get pulled over... trust me.

 

Someone told me insurance is more on red cars too, my 96' black salvaged ek was $4 more insurance then my clean title RED 97' ek.

Youll get pulled over with any kitted/lowered/loud exhaust Honda regardless of the color. However, Red "cars" do get pulled over more. Unfortunately our cars are not cars.......they're Hondas.

red aint nothing i got pulled over in my primer da a while back but for what nothing got searched and everthing ps this was in cali fresno to be exact
and yea i think white is the most worst color cause what da aint white
