Where in the U.S. is the best place to buy a jdm motor? Meaning, a reasonable price for complete motor+tranny? I've done lots of searching in google, i see that Osaka Motors has a pretty good deal. There's a few more like carboy and passwordjdm, but they're just too pricy for a b16a (hydo tranny +lsd). any other places? thanks for the help!

I got mine from http://www.jazzproparts.com. Free shipping, and took 1 week after i ordered it to get it. It was a b18c motor.

 

HMotors hands down.

Never heard a complaint, and they have awesome customer service. Had problems running my card, and they called every day to keep me updated with the situation.

Some places might beat them on price, but it's pretty safe to say that you will never find a more consistant place on the net.

My buddy bought a JDM engine from them last year and is very happy with the engine so I feel they are the safest place to buy JDM motors !

 

Hmotorsonline is the only place I ever get engines and used JDM parts from. Steve is the man and you'll never find stuff in as good condition as the stuff he sells. All sensors work, you get the complete engine harness and he is a stand up guy. The last two b20s I ordered he made me wait for the next container when one of them wasn't up to his standards. Well worth the little bit extra he charges.
