I just got my crx dynod last week it put down 224whp/189tq with a turbo d16. The car weighs about 2100lb w/o driver. I was just wondering if it has the power/weight capability to run 12s with some 225/50-15 bfg drag radials. The car is currently down because of the transmission and will not be going to the track until I get a new clutch+drag radials. It would be nice to know if has the capability to run high 12s.
You WILL be in the 12's! I dyno'd at 277hp @ 240 ft and ran 11.80. My crx weighs exactly 2000 pound's with no driver. My engine is now making 324hp @ 261 ft.
New time is 11.63 @ 120

With that power and torque you’ll be good for 12’s with seat time. I have a friend (I wish he would get his car running again haha) that is running around the same numbers full front interior on drag radials and hits 12’s all day.
