Well it is like this, i thought it was my tie rod so i changed both inner and outer tie rod, rack end bushing, and upper control arm, lower ball joint..... the vibration went away for like two weeks....everything was stiff....couldnt be happeir. but now everything is back to how it was... knocking on rough road, vibrating like it up and down movement. So i took it to the shop to realign my si hatch and for them to check what else could be wrong....i even was with them for a hour....they told me they were stump...... so can this mean my rack and pinion is toast and need a new one.... im starting to pull my hair and drive this bitch off a cliff, if i cant fix this ****....put to much money in this problem...I need to fix before i swap my engine....sorry if this didnt make any sense and i do have my flame suit on in case.......by the way i did "SEARCH""""

 

did you ever adjust the gearbox pinion?

 

i told the mechanic guy to adjust the gear box and he told me there is no such thing......he said honda use rack and pinion only no gear box...

 

thers a big lock nut on the other side of the pinion. you must adjust that in conjunction with replacing the rack end bushing. its in the helms.
