It would be cool to see that thing run at a non NOR CAL event.

Congrats! That's a spectacular time , and in a B powered car even. Gives us all B motor heads some hope. You gotta bring that car down to Fontana in a few months. I want to see this car in competition in person. Keep it up and go get that 10 sec timeslip. What's the setup if I may ask.

I don't think that makes it anything on the "street car" list if it's not on gas.

I'm going to take it off the list though. It isnt legal for any of our sanctioning bodies and the list is for street class cars. Post the timeslip here for addition to their local Street All motor list https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1851893

awwwww.. this is going to get ugly.. Chad first off don't take this the wrong way i have alot of respect for you and your love this sport and the progress of the whole Nor Cal scene but this one just set it back. i was barely going to let it slide with the whole sheet metal and the hacked up bumper and the air box on this street car ..but man...... METHANOL!?... Don't take the wrong way but show some professionalism...

look the only reason we ran methanol on the car was because of the price 3 per gallon and 10 per gallon and its very simple ill pu the car back on gas and we will go run tens! no big deal the only difference on the car was on meth it was cheaper to run and we made the same power on gas! so take it how you will we will still go out and kick some *** either way! by the way i have talked to frank about allowing methanol in the class as a cheaper alternative fuel but thats up to them! i will put the car on gas and go out again next week and see what it will do then!

danny have you seen the dhr car with the pro stock scoop and the full sheet metal front come on danny im not sitting here trying to fool anyone its not like we tryed to hide anything. anyways just make me want to hold off on getting the car painted and put it on gas this week and go get my ten second slip! Danny i have always given you respect and i kinda sucks to have you make it sound like i shamed nor cal for running methanol in my car, and its not like you cant smell it when i ran the car last weekend! the car had a few dead spots it in to so trust me we will get our name back on the list and it will be on the tens spot!

Look Chad i didn't get a chance to stand next to your car when you were running i just watched it, so i don't know what you are doing. Yes it fast but at the same time its Very Questionable. You shouldn't worry about what other people do.. Do what is honorable to yourself and peers.. I don't want to step on anyone toes by speaking my voice but as a whole we should all rep NOR CAL in a respectable way.. You don't have to be fastest buy to win races and you know and I know you can get that car to run 11.2s with everything in it and on Gas.. so why not just do it... its almost so simple that way no one can doubt what you are capable of...Im not saying this to target at you directly but you are a professional drive and i expect you to set a standard as a pro even if its just a sportman/street class you should make it VERY clear what your car is classified as that way you get the credit you deserve from the rest of the country... Even though i am close to alot of people in the NOR CAL street class scene i don't agree with all of the ways the cars are setup thats why i feel like the rest of the country is silently laughing at what we are trying to do. I want to change that and it starts with us to set and example..

I agree. We we're going to go to CMI after the IDRC race and run in the street All Motor class , but I was told the cars are all cut up with lexan windows and running on meth and there are no real rules ,and that it wasn't worth it to go. And I was told this by someone who is from NorCal and runs CMI all the time. They even said they were not going to go. That's sad if your own folks down your track and event. Even in the other sanctions , the street classes(all motor) are getting out of control. I got to see the DH car in Palmdale and let me tell you...that aint no street car. Side exit 3" header, custom rear end and all. But the car is still operating withtin the rules...so who am I to hate. The rules in the all motor street classes are too vague. I don't want to , but maybe we're all going to have to cut our cars up and go on meth to be able to have some fun in these classes. But the question is..should we have to? I think frank from BOTI and Jerry from IDRC need to rethink the rules and make them a little more "street" If you need to cut your car up and go on meth..maybe you should run in the PRO class , that way there's more than 3 cars in it. Still , props to Chad for even gettin that car to run those times. Meth or no meth , it's still tough to get a car to run like that. I hope he does put it back on gas and runs low 11's.
