heater blower
today after finally getting my climate control unit in, i checked all the functions of the unit to make sure they worked. everything worked properly until i turned the blower on. nothing happend 1 through 4. i proceded and checked the 30a fuse, nothing.
is there anything else that i could be? or do i have to replace the blower itself to make the heater work?
ethan.

lol ill try that. it hasn't been used in a very long time, im kind of resurecting this crx so that might be it.
however, if that does not work, is there any other fuses i could check, or relays? i really don't want to have to replace this as it is not cheap.

I am having the same problem with a sedan I just bought.
I checked the wires running to the motor with a tester and found it was getting power. I figured it was the motor so I took it out, spun the fan, then tried it again. It worked! I turned it off and tried to start it again. Nothing. Repeated the last couple steps and was able to get it to work until I shut it off again.
I have seen electric motors get dead spots in them but never saw one that needed a "helper spin" to get going every time I try to use it.
BTW.... Once the motor is running it is strong.
If your blower motor is like mine I think the best thing is to replace it. Unless this condition is caused by something else?
