I few days ago I hit a curb my car is very low but my exhaust and my oil pan took most of the damage. When I pulled the oil pan off.. the oil pump strainer was damaged... After the accident I tried to start my car and it made a loud short screech and I cut it off . It never started it just made that noise any ideas what else I should replace to be sure my engine wont die.. I only tired to start it once then I saw the damage........ 94 ls

 

pull the oil pan and see if you hit it hard enough to push the windage tray up into the crankshaft
