soo i pulled out my interior today including my carpet.. and my sound deadening was chipping. i was able to pull large peices out with my hands. There was a lot of moisture underneath, and i'm able to easily chip the rest out with a chisel. i know this is bad. anyone have any experience with a similar event? its in a 92 civic si. advice?

 

What makes you think it's bad? I had a similar experience in my 93 EX. Remove it if you want, and move on.

p.s. The moisture in my car came from a leaking windshield seal.
