Default Clicking when accelerating and my windows squeal

Whenever I am going about 35-40 mph in a straight line, the front end clicks whenever I lightly push in the pedal to accelerate but will stop as soon as I let go of the accelerator. It will not occur at initial speeds. Any ideas what this could be?

The car sat in my garage for about 2 months because of an ice storm and that somehow made the nut of my lowerball joint fall out while I was driving. I just now recently replaced brakes, pads, with a rotor over hub conversion, new bearings, both sides of the outer tie rod, and the lower ball joints. One axle boot had the metal connector that held the smaller end of the cv boot in place loose so I replaced it temporarily with a cable tie. The other axle is brand new.

And about my windows, ever since I got this car 2 years ago, the driver side and passenger side window squeals whenever I lower them and sometimes when I raise them. Imagine your teacher having long nails scratching the chalkboard and that is exactly what it sounds like but 5x worst since it's right next to your ears. What should I put on the window guides to make it stop?

The car is a 94 with a h22 in it.

If it is the guides at the front and rear edge of the glass, use a Q-tip and apply some Armor-All to the window tracks. I had problems with my windows sticking and getting crooked in the guides a few years ago, did this and haven't had any trouble since.

My car makes the same type of clicking that your describing when accelerating with a b18b. I think it might be that the axle is not properly set in the spindle or tranny side so it skips teeth when ur on it. I can't think of anything else.

Can you really feel a bad valve lash through your steering?

Yeah, my valves are already clicking but it's not that clicking sound, so maybe it's the axle. I'll probably change my axle sometime soon and readjust my valves after I get it out of my garage.

And you know what sucks, I went to get my car aligned but then found out one of the wheel bearings I just bought from drivewire.com was bad. I've yet to hear back from them about replacing it. I sent several emails and called them. Customer service supposedly sent my info over to the RMA department but I've yet to hear anything. It's been like three weeks.

The bad thing is that I was busy with school and everything so I didn't have time to put on my bearings. So I did it 2 months later and just read their returns info about finding out if it was a bad part within 25 days. Seriously, there's no way you can tell if a bearing is bad from looking at it! So I'm probably SOL.

So lesson learned. NEVER order from drivewire.com people! WORST customer service ever. I might as well have given someone 60 bucks to kick me in the *****.

he didnt say he could feel it through his steering wheel..well since your valves are already ticking get them adjusted and yes id say its your axle..i have the same problem I bought an axle from autozone and it already has a rip in the cv boot..going to get a new one tomorrow mine does the same thing...when i have my foot on the gas it will click a little but when i take it off it quits..its done this a couple of times and a new axle fixes it everytime! Get your bearings at napa..thats where I got mine..they are 77 bucks but they are awesome

hey thanks. didn't mean to jack the thread. My bad to the op.

I didn't notice any rips or tears in my cv boots. Here's one thing when I did my swap, when i put the passanger axle in, I pulled on the knuckle while the axle was in there enough to pop the spindle part loose. I managed to pop it back in but I don't know what type of damage if any occured. Think this may caused the problem?
