needle broke on gas gauge on si cluster

Default needle broke on gas gauge on si cluster

how can i fix this do i need another cluster gauge from a 99si or can i but the needle i put aftermarket glowgauges on thats how it broke help have no way of telling how much gas i have only with trip meter

Honda dealer. I did this once too. but i did my water & fuel. It was back in 99 when they came out with the euro clusters. The needles have a little backing to them that sticks out & would get caught up so they would get stuck & not read correct. i thought i could cut the backs off with an exacto knife. Yeah that worked like ****. F'n broke them. I brung it to honda & told them they fell off & it was a defect & to warrenty them. They laughed & charged my like $185 to fix both. Yeah s.o.l man. i did the exact same thing. but i thought they would just pull off and i could put them back on...... NOT!!! all I have is the speedo. ran out of gas once without the fuel gauge. its amazing how much you need them.
