Throttle Position Sensor?
This is about my moms 1992 accord AT. The problem is when the car is sitting at an idle it runs fine, rev it up no miss no sputtering, when you drive it you can floor board it and it runs great the only time it messes up is when I slow down to take a curve or my mom said it does it pulling a hill to. When I come out of a curve and give it some throttle (wide open throttle or not) it will not rev just stay at idle for an sec or 2 then it picks up and run good. Could it be the TPS and if so is there anyway to change it without buyin an whole throttle bodie. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated.
It could be that your TPS is working on and off. You can check it by unplugging the electrical connection and see what happens -- the erratic behavior should stop.
The sensor is built into the intake body, so you have to replace the whole thing -- a fairly easy job. The problem is the high cost. In my case, I found a good one at a salvage yard. You may also find one on eBay or you can do a Google search for a used part.
Just make sure to use a new gasket with gasket cement -- otherwise you will have worse of a problem -- up and down idle.

My 92 Accord used to kind of cut out when I would make a hard right hand turn, when the gas tank was low. I had to change the fuel pump soon after, so that may be a sign. Check to see if it happens when the tank is full, or at least half full. Hope one of these suggestions works for you, good luck.
