ok heres the thing i have a 97 ex and i finally got some money together to get a new motor. i have no idea where to start. i have about $6000 to spend on it and i know that i want to boost. i want about 350-400 hrp. i was thinking about getting another d16y8 and gettin new rods, pistons, keepin my same tranny and transmission and then just boosting but i dont know. or i was going to go with a ls b18 and just gettin new everything for it and boostin it. if anyone has any suggestions that is under or around $6000 please let me know. thanks

There's a tremendous amount of information on the site if you take the time to sift through it. I'd really prefer to cut down on the number of, "I have X amount of money to spend, what would you suggest?" threads if we can.
