ls/vtec ecu question???????

Default ls/vtec ecu question???????

Do i need to match my ecu with my head???I mean do i need gsr ecu with my gsr head on my ls/vtec setup???

Throwing the GSR ecu will make the car run but the best bet is going to be a chipped ECU.

It's going to look for a knock sensor that doesn't exist if you don't put one in yourself plus with a P30 piston setup and LS block, the compression is going to be fairly high so it may knock as well.

This is just my .02, I could be off a little but I think it's pretty much all you need to know.

Well it'll only have ot run for a very short time on whatever ecu i throw...I have hondata on the way but i have ot wait for it to arrive and get tuned...so should i just go for whatever is cheapist???And i guess my main question is would it be safe to start up with a p30 ecu???
