Quaife LSD...........
For the very first time, I raced my car at an event. It was the Qualcomm Stadium 1/8 mile track. My tranny has a Quaife LSD in it.
During my burnouts, the car would pull to the right, and I had to turn the wheel about 180 degrees left just to stay straight. That means that my drivers side wheel is doing most, if not all, of the work. My passenger side wheel seems a lot cooler in temp then my drivers side wheel.
Is a B series tranny with Quaife LSD supposed to do that? Could there be something wrong with my LSD unit? Could the guys who installed it have lied to me about actually putting it in?

just like the drag cars when they burn out the car will twist. If you had only one tire working it wouldn't move to the right at all just one wheel wonder. You can check to see if they did put it in buy jacking the front of the car have someone hold one tire and you spin the other. You should be able to move your tire forward and the other guys should be moving backwards or very hard to move.

A helical LSD will behave pretty much like an open differential if one wheel is off of the ground.

The Quaiffe unit has no operational check procedure like the ITR LSD. (Both the ITR and Quafe ATB LSDs are helical units.) So the Quaife lifetime warranty translates to it is in one piece or many pieces, which is meaningless except for catastrophic failure.
Pull an axle to verify if the LSD is in there. There should be no visible center pin.
