hey guyz, my friend own a 91crx and he swapped a b16a. the motor mount he got is hasport mount, and somehow when he start to drive, the car shake really hard...any ideas why is that?

 

is it when he just steps on the gas? cause my car would shake really hard and i have a 91 with a b16 swap in it and it turns out the axle bearings shattered!

 

yea, it only happen when he step on the gas, the shakin is go away when he pass 2.5k on the rpm, his axle is good though...

 

axle boot can be intact, yet the inside's busted...are your wheels balanced though?

 

wheels is good, it brand new so it all balanced and stuff, well if the axle is busted, then the car shouldnt be able to drive right? It happend to my car before like you mentioned, and i cant drive at all, my friend can drive just fine.

 

I've broken an axle once after autoXing and I was still able to drive it home (75 miles)...very carefully

 

hahahaha u reminded me of my car when my axle are busted, i was so lucky that i can make it home, roughly 15miles before it went completely dead on me hahahaha....but then my friend can drive his car normally, he been drivin for weeks now, it just the shaking is bugging him so thats why i ask you guyz see if any ideas...
