White paint, brown spots, clay bar question
I recently bought a white car an noticed in some areas, like around the wheel wells, there is a brown stain it seems like. I never owned a white car but is this a common issue ? And does a clay bar help remove this stain ?
is it actual pitting in the paint? if it isnt a good washing and a claybar should get rid of it, if not then it might be rust spots
Nah no rust, I know all about the rust
. Actually the car is pretty much flawless. Its actually a dark stain around the wheel wells. Its almost like, its clear as well, like you can rub it off with your finger but it won't come off.

were you or anyone else doing any grinding near your car? I had that before but it was from the metal shavings that rusted on my clearcoat..

oxidation from rust, pollutants in the air, sap, regardless of what it is a clay bar and a paint cleaner wax should get rid of most of it. If you do buy a clay bar, spend the few extra bucks for the meguairs kit, it really is worth it. When I was in autobody we would wash the car first with dawn dishsoap because it softens the paint, then clean the paint, then just make sure and put some kind of hard or liquid wax back on and youll be set.
i have the same issue too. i've got like yellow bird droppins on my car. after a wash, it's pretty much noticable. i really need to get some claybar

Sounds like tar. Use a bug and tar remover on it. Let it sit for a few minutes (clean up the stuff that drips) and then clean it off. Bug and tar remover will remove wax, so you'll want to re-wax afterwards.

I don't no, if it was its very very good job. Some people said yes, some say no. The guy I bought it from had it for 4 days, then it was stolen

When I was doing paint prep at a body shop I saw this a lot.
I'm going update this with possible pics if I can capture it on film. Its not really brown spots guys, more like small little darker whitish black areas. Its almost like black smudges that won't come off.
