Default side view mirrors

can anyone recommend a nice looking set of mirrors. i have a 92vx and it came with only 1 mirror on the drivers side. i was wondering how hard it is to add one on the passengers side and if there are any recommendations on some kickass mirrors. i cant remember what posts i read about folding ones, any info would be appreciated.

im assuming you dont have power mirrors cuz i dont know how those install, but the manual ones are easy to install. just one suggestion dont buy it from the factory! i think you can find them used for pretty cheap...look around

I bought an oem style replacement mirror for $45 shipped from some website that had shitloads of new oem replacements, all made in china, but actually the quality is great!
I dont remember the site but I am sure you can find it by searching thru Yahoo for honda mirrors or honda replacement parts.... etc.

It is really easy to add an oem passenger mirror onto an EG CX.
it will bolt up to the body.
you need to dremell out a hole in the interior triangle piece for the adjustment arm... just like on th edrivers side where the adjustment arm/lever sticks into the cabin ... the plastic is easy to cut so go slowly and keep test fitting the plastic piece to see where you should cut it. Use your drivers side as a mirror image template for where to cut the hole and how big it should be.

No Offense Cruz be I think he said he is saving for a swap and those 200 dollar mirrors might no tbe in his budget!!!

check out ebay and get some si/ex mirros like somebody else said or just go to some junkyard and look for a right side mirror...it can always be painted if it look terrible!

heheh i over looked the budget part... but i am curious to find out why you guys are recommending Si/EX mirrors. 94-95 came painted and weren't the EX's power? most likely his mirrors are black so i suggest going to the junkyard and look for any 94-up civic CX/DX/VX passenger mirror.

hehe yeah at the risk of having poor visibility (no mirror) you can have a lower drag coefficient than the average civic WITH both mirrors...haha jk i think its a miniscule difference..

good luck finding used mirror, i had to get some other knock off version because all the later years were sold/not available. i paid 40 or 45 for them and besides the glass quality factor you would think they were stock.
install is cake-walk. you can actually order the stock plastic interior piece for the adjustment handle- it's better than some jerry rigged kind( i tried unsuccesssfully to- drill it out...). and don't forget the gasket, pretty important. it's much beter when you can see using that mirror.
