questions on paing my oem wheels
i worked in a body shop for a fue years but i aint never spray no rims ...... if i was painting rims i would just give them a nice wash an while the rims are wet an soapy i would wet sand them with 800 to 600 grit sand paper ( its ez'er to wet sand with soap ) when your done sanding the area you plan to paint , dry the rims ...... the sanded area should still have the same colour it was but should look really faded ...... if there are still glossy area's just sand until the paintable area looks faded ....... then paint
.............. there is no need to prime because paint sticks better to paint then it does primer
i would rather do it this way cuz its faster , ez'er , cheaper and will come out with the same way
if you can post some pics of b4 , during and after so if other people wanna do the same thing they can see what it looks like
