jonathan wong "popularized" the term...he didnt make it up. term was thrown around for the longest time. before jonathan wong was katman who used it quite a lot on his tiiite boyy homepage. in 98-99.

 

hehe...in my last post, I said he popularized it. Because it made me think, he didnt create it, but at least he made it mainstream. And its not that important, but I wanted to know who it was, glad I found out.

Man, a few years ago there weren't even half of the magazines we see today, except Turbo, Import Tuner. That's all I remember, and they were THIN!!
Super Street was different, it focused more on JDM, thats why it got popular. Let me restate it this way: Super Street via Wong's use of JDM in every other sentence gave the term a mainstream boost.

The automotive industry has used United States Domestic Market and European Domestic Market for a long time. You can really just put a country name before "domestic Market" to signify anything that came from that country....really.
