Default 3 pt. carbing bar, interferes with brake reservoir.

I have a carbing 3 pt. bar for dc2 integras, but when I try to put it on, the brake reservoir is too tall. My integra is a '95, Does anyone know if the 98+ reservoir is shorter, or what do I have to do to get it to fit??

Anyone with this bar, please give me some advice!!

I believe its hitting because the carbing bar is made for a RHD car where the brake booster, master cylinder, and clutch master cylinder are on the other side.

Yes, but I've seen other people with the car installed, I want to know what they had to do to make it fit.

Different reservoir? Modified reservoir? I don't really want to modify the bar, looking for options.

All the ones I've seen cover the reservoir.

sell the carbing bar, get yourself a passwordjdm 3pt bar which clears brake master cylinder reservoir. Its also alot stronger then carbings....

I like the carbing, and I've had a bad experience with passwordjdm, I also think most of their jdm stuff is a rip-off. Also, the carbing bar weighs ~5 lbs., something the heavy-*** password bar can't claim.

As for being stronger, I kinda doubt it. It has 5 mm aluminum plate, and the firewall connection point is a lot sturdier than the password one. Either way, I'd rather pay a little more for the original than a knock-off.

I know I've seen people use the RHD 3-pt., anyone in here have any advice?

Thanks.

Just take the brake reservoir off! That's how you can get it on!

Thats why the password is heavier. And you really think lbs matter on a strut bar anyway??

I always did think that for some suspension parts(sway bars, strut bars, ect) that heaver was mostly better...

Change out your reservoir or the brake master cylinder and reservoir to the 98 spec. Should clear it. You are right, PJDM is not JDM and is a knockoff.
