anyone ever put 94-98 engine in 99 accord ?????

Default anyone ever put 94-98 engine in 99 accord ?????

i put 96 f22 in 99 accord switched mani and dizzy.. engine started
then all of sudden it kind of froze up and shut off i thought it locked up but
it still turns fine just wont start there is spark and gas just wont crank

My question is has anyone ever do this swap succesfully or anyone have an idea what it could be

doesnt the 99 accord have a crank sensor? I think theres a lil wiring issue between the car, however, the motors are the same, so it should be plug and play. Make sure that all the plugs are in tight, and make sure that there arent any sensors left on the old engine.

both block have crank sensors.. u think maybe it jumped time? when it shut off it seemed as if something got stuck and the engine stopped instantly

maybe its not timed correctly. Pull the spark plugs and try to crank it by hand, if it doesnt turn, your fucked!

OBD I FTMFW!!!!!!!

Personally Id put the F22's over the F23's into the 6th gen's. Better motor and tranny.

LOL! Yea.

Title said 94-98 so I assumed it was a 94 or 95. I shoulda read the description.

I dont think the F23's have a better bottom end than the F22's. Theres more guys blowing up their F23's than F22's when boosted. F23's have weak ringlands as some say. Theres been a few F22's boosted pushed pretty hard and not blown. All the F23's pushed have been BOOM!
