Default 97 Accord CEL

Alright, so the check engine light came on during my ride home today, and I stopped by autozone to get the code checked, and they couldn't tell me anything about what's going on. I checked the Haynes book, and there's nothing there either. Sucks that my first post is this ... but I want to see if anyone can give me an idea about what I should check, and what I should do.

It's a 97 Accord... automatic
The code is P0740
"The PCM has determined that a malfunction exists in the electrical circuit for the torque converter clutch" <--- That's what the readout says.

Hm.. that doesn't sound good.
Hopefully it's easier than I think it is to fix but that's part of the transmission.
I don't think it will be fatal for your transmission but you might have a dysfunctional torque converter. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/torque-converter.htm
which certainly isn't good, I don't know precisely the problems that occur from your malfunction.
