93 JDM h22a with chipped out p28, Wat do u think about a manual Vtec Switch????
i have a 96 honda accord with a 93 jdm h22a and i was woundering if it would be a good idea to run the vtec solinoid to a button because the p28 that i have, vtec kicks in at 6000rpm but i want it to kick in sooner. Wat do u guys think.
you can make vtec engage earlier but the fuel will not be compensated. So basically you will be running lean until 6000rpm.
Also what chip are you running in the p28.

if my car was to run lean wouldnt that be bad..... wouldnt it lead to detination? i mean it would be nice to hit it at 2500 rpm but i duno. i think im running a mugen chip or spoon becase i baught the ecu fro my friend
i duno wat chip would be good for my h22. i want the vtec to kick in a lil bit earlier like my stock ecu but the stock ecu kicks in louder but some how lag in the beginning before vtec enguages

If this chip has vtec engaging at 6k rpm, I'd be amazed if it was tuned to run a H22.
Get a real tuning job.
Also, VTEC engaging at 2500 rpm won't do anything for you but make the car slower. The VTEC lobes on the cam are optimized for high rpm performance.
Your budget is going to do things that will make your car more unreliable and therefore, more expensive. Go back to a stock ECU or get some real engine management.
