apparently its quite popular among the road race crowd, just wondering if anyone uses it in drag. I looks funky but its supposed to be super functional.

I was thinking about getting one of these to i can brag to my friends how much bigger my shifter is compared to theres.

i have one in my roadrace car and the main benefit is that its closer to the steering wheel so you can get back to steering quicker. the throw is actually stock (maybe alittle shorter). but i always thought that bigger hp cars and faster would benefit from this. sepecially with SFWD cars making big power nowadays they need both hands to get them things down the track.

tall shifters are great for drag racing. Shifting is so much better with the lever up high.

This is what we run, lots of fabrication, barely shorter than stock throw.

I wish we had something like this that was more of a plug and play type deal...

I'm doing it a cheap and quick way to hopefully achieve the same effect, mounting the shifter box inside the car on top. We'll see...

That will work well. Sometimes I wish we had just done that.

For all you guys poking fun at tall shifters... you just need to drive one.

definately not. sorry.

healtoeauto has them. also, bluer on honda-tech is a dealer. good goy from NY that i got mine from. pm him for prices if you dont wanna go through healtoe.

another option is to get the shifter extender from circuit hero. it threads onto where your shift **** goes and extends the shifter length wise. the circuit hero extender you have to use with a short throw shifter so it equals out to be a stock throw. i know bluer is a circuit hero dealer as well or you can search honda-tech. they are on here and have good deals and prices on their stuff.

the **** box with the FLP shifter
