Im gonna skip all the bs and get straight to the point... I yanked out my transmission and installed a new clutch along with a pressure plate and throw out bearing. Nothing aftermarket, I got the parts at autozone (oem replacement). Anyways, I put the car back together and got it up and running, buuuuut... When ever I pushed the clutch pedal all the way in I would hear this scretching/whinny type noise, but ONLY when the clutch pedal all the way to the floor. So I reluctantly yanked the transmission back out to see what the $%^# was going on!. After looking at the new clutch and pressure plate now I think I know whats making that sound. What I think it is, the four springs on the clutch are rubbing up againts the plate spring.
here's some pics I took. You can see on the plate spring where the springs were rubbing up againts.
(warning VERY big pictures)

If that is the problem then how do you fix it? maybe I installed/did something wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.
BTW, the tranny is off of a 97 GSR.

Any chance the clutch disk went in backwards?
Just curious, how much was the parts from Autozone? Last time I checked, you could buy an Exedy Stage One kit with more torque capacity for less than the Autozone stock replacements.

Nope, im possitive that it didn't go in backwards.
I paid a little more than $200. But I returned it and ordered an exedy stage one kit for $279. You get what you paid for right!

I didn't even get a chance to "break it in" because the second I installed it in the car and got it up and running it started to make that noise. I then drove it around the block a couple of times hoping that it was just a temperary thing but it just keeped on making that noise every time the clutch was pushed in all the way to the floor. So now im back to step 1, the front of the car is jacked up with the transmission sitting on the floor of my garage.
