I just got my ek sideskirts in the mail today. I need to make new holes for the clips only 1 of them out of the 7 or 8 line up(the front clip). What is the best method to make square holes?

 

Drill where new holes need to be, then tin snip or dremel out the square.

When i put EK skirts on my ej1, i just lined it up and used 3 small self tapping screws on the underside, never came loose or moved and looked like they were meant for the car. Probably save you some time from cuttin all 14 holes.

 

so you only used the one hole that lined up and then used self tappers on the underside, correct?

did you cut out all the holes or use self tapping screws?

 

The front clip lined up perfectly, I just drilled 1 1/2" hole about halfway back and 1 more hole for the last clip. Then used 3 sheet metal screws on the underside.
