Default Newbie Racer

I have a somewhat embarrassing question but I need to know, so I will ask it anyways.
Does anyone have problems sitting in your Integra with a Helmet on? I went to the track this weekend for the first time, after having my GSR boosted. I was forced to wear a helmet, but I couldn't get comfortable at all. I had to lean my seat way back and slouch. Is there a trick to sitting in the original seats with a helmet on? And I'm only 5'7, so I don't think its my height. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

you can lower your seats so you sit lower in the car. also, do you have a sunroof? Cars with sunroofs generally have less headroom

I lowered the seat down as far as possible and my helmet was still rubbing the roof. I do have a sun roof too. I'm also wondering if I would need to buy a racing seat. Would that set me lower? I'd just hate to spend money on a seat.

what year is your car? the 98+ seats sit a little higher because of the extra adjustment capabilities .. maybe switch to 94-97 seats or try s2000 seats. i hear those sit a lot lower than stock

It is a 99. That is interesting. I might have to trade seats with my sister's 97 now. Welp, I'll give it a try. Thanks.
