Default Buying 03 Accord Coupe 4 Cyl advice.

Hi Everyone, ill start this off by letting u all know i did search, becuase if this forum is like my 2001-2005 Civic Forum, we hate idiots that dont search.

My parents are looking at buying a 2003 Accord Coupe.

Its a 4 Cyl Auto, and i dont know the trim.

Im guessing its EX, because it has Leather, 6 disc CD, Sunroof, and mags.

They are just wondering some common problems people have with this car. I understand it was the 1st year of the ... i think its 7thgen? body style, therefore it might have more problems than the refined 2004+'s.

My search has brought 2 things to my attention.

#1) Front brakes? - How are your experiences with them?

#2) Auto Tranny? - I know the case is with auto's in civic's they are one of the worst tranny's honda ever made. Is this the case with the 03 accord 4 cyls?

Please also list and other common problems people have been having with this year, or gen of accord.

Heres a rundown of the car

03 Accord 4 Cyl Coupe
Automatic
Champange
Black leather interior
6 disc CD player
Power Everything
Sunroof
only 41,800 KM's <-- No miles
and the car is $16,000

Now i know a lot of you americanites would think that is expensive, but its really not here in Canada.

The average price of an 03 accord here, with 60,000-100,000 KM's is 22,000, so this is a SUPER deal.

Let me know ur thoughts, thanks
