The speedometre on my 98' R is not working and i have had the VSS checked and the sensor is O.K. The problem was diagnosed as being a broken clock, I have sourced a second-hand instrument cluster off an X reg with less mileage on than mine. The reason why i have posted this letter is to ask whether i should clock the mileage to my broken clock or leave it, and put in the receipt with the owners manuel?
