Default GSR with ITR steering wheel install

installing a itr steering wheel in a 98 gsr and ran into a prob. the SRS sensor is the way. im thinking just remove it.
just wondering what does everybody do when changing this?

hopefully you are installing a jdm wheel cause there is no diff b/t usdm itr and gsr wheels . On either wheels you shouldnt have a problem it will bolt right on no problem nothing in the way I threw mine on in 5minutes. I wouldn't remove the sensor not unless you can stand your srs light constantly on.

yes sry it is a JDM one.
well on the sensor the are two nipples that stick out that go into old wheel. what did u do?
does ur horn work still?

should fit perfectly...all you have to do is turn the nipples to like up

how'd you guys relocated the cruise control buttons or will they not bolt up to the jdm wheel?

no cruise control...Type R doesn't have it

sorry, i was referring to putting into a gsr w/ cruise control options

most people dont run it becuase the wheel does not have it, becuase the type-r does not have it

do not do this. Sorry but that is terrible advice.

Correct way to install the JDM SRS wheel on a 96-01 Integra: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1875083

SRS should function correctly, no SRS light, and turn signal will cancel properly.

Yes horn works perfectly I just unplugged the cruise control switches and tucked them inside. the only thing is sometimes when you take a gentle right turn and u are using your signal the signal cancel doesn't work you have to manually move the lever
