Default checking CEL on obd0-obd1 conversion

this is probably a dumb question, but i have an obd0 to obd1 conversion on my crx, and this CEL just came on. what is the method of checking what code it is? is it the same as with the old pm6 ecu?

Jump your service connector, read the flashes on the CEL.
