Default Teaser of upcoming DIY, dash backlight colour change

just a teaser for now, my brother has done a complete change of his dash to blue. This is all stock gauge cluster and other parts so during the day this all looks perfectly normal and not "ricer-ish" like most after market gauge clusters.

Anyhoo, he is still working on some parts and he will have a full DIY when he is done, just a teaser of the almost complete dash for now

(yes its RHD, its an Australian car, so don't get too excited)

My car, and trust me, NOT as easy as just changing orange bulbs to blue. "How to" to come soon.

actually, it is as easy and changing out the bulbs, buy the right bulbs, take off cluster, the bulbs twist off, replace them. theres 3 behind the cluster i believe. there is a thread on here with a right up on it, but its part of his build

The light look alright, if you're into that sort of thing.

How cute is the girl that rides that SV650?

yeah this glowing everywhere effect is what he was trying to avoid for a cleaner look, and I think he did.

Yea cellphone camera makes things stand out more than they do..... but I would rather the uv wash and bright needles than the white-ish wash and pale looking needles.

But either way they look good (makes me think I should finish mine...), did he use flex strips or individual leds?

individual LEDs, I think I wasn't there for the actual work as he's in Australia and I'm in the USA.
