Default best spark plugs/heat range for mostly stock B16

I have a stock B16 with MSD external coil and it is time to do a tune-up: (plugs/rotor/distributor cap). I have NGK V-Power plugs BKR6N-E11 in the car now.

--Is there any benefit to running Iridium plugs over NGK?

--Of the three plugs, which do you reccomend?

Why dont you think the spark plugs recommended for your vehicle are not the best suited ones for you? Think about it - The vehicles tested to form these plug recommendations are stock vehicles, not modified, from the manufacturer. Now, consider the state your vehicle presently sits in....Mostly stock. Dont mean to break the news to you, but your car is practically stock. MSD external coil doesn't make your car an N/A monster, nor did it really do much for the car besides locating the coil outside of the distributor. So the plugs you have will work just fine. Jumping up or down a heat range will only help you come closer to damaging your engine and costly repairs.

Also, in the upper right hand corner of the screen, in red colored font, is the search function. Click it and you can have your spark plug questions answered for ya.

Since my obd0 B16 was made 16 to 19 years ago, the reccomended plugs might not be the best/newest technology available.
I am simply asking if the newer technology of iridium plugs will benefit my setup?

Same plug application as he is using.

Your OBD0 B16 is not much different in overall mechanics as an OBD2 B16. The benefit of going iridium is less frequent plug changes, possibly better fuel economy, and a more consistent spark. Stick with your plugs unless you want to spend 50 bucks and pick up some iridiums. If you wish to get iridiums, Pick up the Denso made plugs.
