msd cap and rotor with ngk wires??
hi have a 94 accord ex 4cyc. and i just bought a cap and rotor set..they are MSD and i didn't mean to buy them i just wanted OEM parts to go with my OEM NGK wires. With the msd cap and rotor, it requires me to use a msd coil and not my stock coil. But this new coil (blaster SS coil) is like 50 bucks. Plus i already bought ngk wires....what should i do? use the ngk wires with the new msd coil, cap, and rotor?...are they compatable? or should i return the msd cap and rotor set and order another oem cap and rotor that doesn't require a new coil.
If the ngk wires and the msd ignition won't cause some problem then i guess i'll get the coil....any advice??...please reply fast

I'd return the MSD stuff and just stick with OEM. There's no practical purpose to have it unless you're doing serious engine mods.
the stock ignition is fine for a good amount of power unless you are going to be running high into the RPM's (by high I mean something like 8k, and with a stock motor you won't be going that high). Otherwise, OEM ignition is fine to stick with.
You can stick with the MSD parts if you want though. It won't cause any problems and the ngk plug wires will work fine as well. You'll have to get the coil as you've already stated. The coil or the cap should have come with an extra wire to connect the coil to the cap, you may have to cut and crimp the connector onto it though but thats not hard. Also, since you have a 94 EX which has an internal coil, you have to remove the stock coil from the distributor and extend the two wires that are connected to the stock coil to the new external MSD coil. If memory serves me right, the blk/yel is the + and the blu wire is the -. Just extend those to the + and - terminals on the new coil.
