SOHC transmission question.
I bought a Si transmission last summer and I was thinking to swap it out when I do my clutch replacement. Everything went smooth but after trying to fit the HF axel, it just slides in and doesn't catch the gear. I was like WTF but I had no idea so I went back with my old Si transmission instead. The Si and HF gear shaft should be the same but the new transmission seems to be wider so it just rotates without catching the gear. It has the same L3 sticker and it bolts right up but the axel didn't work. Anyone have any idea?
wait, so your car is an hf, but you have an old si trans and a new si trans and the new one doesnt work with the old axles but the old one does?
sorry im just kinda confused about what the question is.

Yeah i was thinking it was an ZC transmission but I wasn't too sure. So the ZC does have bigger axel joint correct?
