Koni/GC w tophats - bumpstops
As I sit here pre assembling my Koni/GC setup, i wonder, would it be better to install the bumpstops upside down?
i ask this because as we know the bumpstop tapers narrower toward the bottom and when the top hat slides over the top end of the bupstop, it seems to stick. However if you flip the bumpstop, the tapered end slides in and out easily.

I did trim them, that's not the problem.
The problem is that the top end of the bumpstop will actually get stuck almost fully into the tophat and stay there. However if you flip them, it would seem to avoid that problem and actually stay down on the shaft where it should be. Just wondering if anyone noticed this too and flipped theirs as well.
Edit: Oh and to top it off, i just now completed my preassembly of the suspension and found out that Koni supplied 1 wrong nut for the shaft. They gave me 3 of the right nuts to lock on the top of the shaft, but for some reason, the 4th one is a totally different dimension?
Don't it just suck when you are almost complete on something, just to get screwed up by the last piece being wrong or missing? I know i can find another to lock it, but that just ruins a completed job well done.
EDIT2: Is GC supposed to come with a collar wrench? Mine didnt.

If the bumpstop was snug around the shaft, enough to not let it slide down under it's own weight, it's just going to end up at the top of the shaft whether it's upside down or not. What's wrong with the bumpstop staying in the top hat? Why does it need to ride on top of the shock? I'm just wondering.
